Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Tax Accountant at Halliwell Tax & Business Services in Batavia, IL. The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for various tax-related tasks and assisting clients with tax planning and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of experience in tax accounting
• Strong knowledge of tax laws.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in Quickbooks Desktop, Online, Fixed Assets, tax close.
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in tax preparation software (DRAKE preferred), Adobe, Excel and Word
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
