Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic, experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to join our growing Human Resources team. This role will support our Forged & Machined Products Group. FMPG is a diverse group of manufacturing businesses within Park Ohio designing and manufacturing a broad range of highly manufactured products. These products include forging, forming presses, and forged and machined components.
Your Role:
The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner will engage with our business leaders and help to identify and select our future talent. This role reports to the Director of Human Resources and is responsible to partner with Manufacturing Operations and HR in all businesses.
Expectations:
1. Work collaboratively with Business Leadership and Human Resources to effectively plan and execute recruiting processes that support achievement of strategic business objectives.
2. Establish strategies to distinguish the company in the marketplace to attract talent, maintain diversity and broaden the reach for hiring great talent.
3. Create innovative approaches for developing a pipeline of high-quality candidates across business lines.
4. Screen candidates and interview for select roles to identify top talent and create shortlists of candidates utilizing criteria agreed with hiring managers.
5. Build & sustain relationships with hiring managers, identify qualified candidates and keep hiring managers updated on screening and hiring status.
6. Maintain metrics appropriate to gauge the effectiveness of talent acquisition, beyond the traditional time-to-fill and cost per hire.
7. Supports employer branding activities, University relationships, professional program partnerships and training programs where applicable.
8. Recommends continuous improvements and leads implementation of changes to recruiting tools and processes and ensures compliance with local legislation and HR policies
9. Responsible for the management of the applicant tracking system Clear Co and documentation.
10. Continuously enhance recruiting processes to ensure an outstanding applicant experience
What you need to be Successful:
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with full lifecycle recruiting including position definition, sourcing/marketing plan, candidate outreach and screening methodologies
• Manufacturing, heavy industrial, machining, skilled mechanics, electricians, maintenance & professional level position experience required
• Strong end-to-end process thinking and experience of managing the applicant life cycle
• Knowledge of different recruitment platforms and experience leveraging these tools to source candidates; Clear Company ATS experience a plus
• Excellent creative ability in sourcing candidates & maintaining a pipeline
• Excellent relationship building, collaboration and driving team spirit capabilities with a history of working effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
• Self-driven, resilient, energetic, enthusiastic and inclusive
• Sound judgment and decision-making, intellectually curious
• Ability to effectively prioritize, balance multiple diverse vacancies and processes and adhere to strict deadlines
• Position also requires analytical/problem solving abilities, effective verbal and written communication skills, attentiveness to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office products (specifically, Excel and PowerPoint)
• High moral standards
• Must have work authorization that permits working in the US
