We are actively seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Senior Systems Manager to join our fast-paced legal team. As a Senior Systems Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating our company's IT systems, ensuring the smooth operation and security of our networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing wide area networks (WAN), Azure Active Directory (AzureAD), SharePoint, Office365, Microsoft Security, virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), as well as A+ and Network+ certifications.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all IT systems, including but not limited to WAN, AzureAD, SharePoint, Office365, Microsoft Security, and VDI.
2. Ensure the security of the company's data and digital assets by implementing robust security measures and protocols.
3. Develop and implement IT policies and best practices for the organization.
4. Collaborate with other departments to identify and meet their IT needs.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve any IT related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
6. Conduct regular system audits and performance reviews to ensure optimal performance and compliance with all relevant regulations.
7. Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements to ensure the company's IT systems remain current and competitive.
8. Train and mentor junior staff members and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the IT department.
9. Manage and maintain the company's virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI).
10. Handle any other IT related tasks as assigned by the management.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the legal industry.
3. Advanced knowledge and experience in managing WAN, AzureAD, SharePoint, Office365, Microsoft Security, and VDI.
4. A+ and Network+ certifications are a must.
5. Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues.
7. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
8. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
10. Ability to stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements.
11. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
12. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
13. High level of professionalism and integrity.
14. Familiarity with the legal industry's IT needs and regulations will be an added advantage.
