The Boeing Company is seeking a **Senior Systems Lab and Electrical Fabrication Manager** to join our team in **Seattle, WA.** The selected candidate will be responsible for the Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) Northwest Systems Lab and Electrical Assembly manufacturing team, including: test and production wire harness fabrication, electrical chassis fabrication, assembly, and functional test, instrumentation rack assembly for laboratory and flight testing, and periodic maintenance and upgrading of engineering test hardware. The successful candidate should have aircraft systems knowledge and interactions of avionics, hydraulic, propulsion and electrical systems in order to build aeronautical systems test hardware to enable aerospace innovation from concept to finished product. This role will require an understanding of the full kit requirements of engineering release to product completion both in a prototype and conformed production environment. This role manages 3 first-line managers with a team of IAM 751 represented employees, and will interact with engineering, manufacturing, quality and support personnel in all phases of the product test life cycle. **Position Responsibilities Include:** + Manage employees and first-level managers performing activities within electrical and mechanical manufacturing disciplines + Develop and execute integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives + Acquire resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements + Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports + Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes + Manage, develop and motivate employees and first-level managers **This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.** **This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.** An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** + 5+ years of experience implementing continuous process improvement, lean processes, and employee involvement and engagement strategies in a manufacturing environment + 5+ years of experience in performing data analysis and/or reporting in a manufacturing environment + 5+ years of experience working in a cross-functional environment including engineering, manufacturing/operations, quality, product support, finance, business development and program management + 5+ years of experience managing or leading people or teams **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** + Bachelor's technical degree or higher (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study) **Relocation:** This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. **Drug Free Workplace:** Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies _._ **Shift:** This position is for 1st shift.
