Job Duties
- Serves as a primary escalation point, tackling challenges and seeing complex technical issues to final resolution.
- Setup, support, and migration of various types of servers and environments.

- Continue knowledge development of relevant technologies and software as appropriate.
Education
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Certifications in the related field
Qualification
- 5 or more years of related experience
- MSP (Managed Service Provider) Experience
- Experience working on a team
- Strong customer service skills
- Skill in preparing written communication
- Must pass a background check
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Skills
- Serve as the ‘last line of defense’ on any customer technical issues, utilizing any means necessary to bring the issues to a successful resolution.
- All level 1 & 2 tier tasks.
- Microsoft 365 configuration, support, and troubleshooting.
- Windows Server – single and multi-site environments
- Backup/Disaster Recovery installation, and troubleshooting, including data restores.
- Understanding of L2/L3 switching, routing, and VLANs.
- PowerShell experience – understanding scripts, light script editing, AI assisted script creation.
- Firewall/security appliance setup and support.
- WLAN installation, configuration, support, and troubleshooting, including troubleshooting of physical cable plant and patch panel troubleshooting, and multiple wifi security methods.
- Use of RADIUS and NPS for authentication including wireless, VPN, network devices, etc.
- DNS registration and records management.
- Mobile device support, including MDM solutions (Intune).
- Client VPN support/troubleshooting including ZTNA, SSLVPN, and IPSEC site to site tunnels.
- VOIP/phone system installation, configuration, support and troubleshooting.
- LOB application advanced troubleshooting, installation, and upgrades.
- Active Directory and Entra ID design, installation, configuration, support, and troubleshooting.
- Advanced security incident response, including advanced virus/malware cleanup.
- Advanced security audit that includes manual discovery and report writing.
- Virtualization platform (VMWare and Hyper-V)/SAN support and troubleshooting.
- Advanced file security/share configuration, support, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain appropriate vendor certifications as established from time to time by Director of Managed Services.
