About the Job
Overview: JHNA is seeking a talented Senior Systems Engineer/Architect to support our Army PEO Aviation customer at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL.
This role has a hybrid work schedule which requires on-site support as needed.
In this role, you will support engineering (SE) efforts and initiatives to assist with and promote the following:
• SE best practices throughout PEO AVN Program Offices (POs)
• Model-based systems engineering (MBSE) within HQ and POs
• Digital engineering methods and tool maturation
• Enterprise architecture (EA) development
• Multi-discipline engineering efforts.
Roles/Responsibilities:
• Coordinate SE, MBSE, and EA training development.
• Provide MBSE expertise in DE and Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) for various programs and projects.
• Create custom profiles in Cameo Enterprise Architect
• Create views using Unified Profile for DoDAF/MODAF (UPDM), Unified Architecture Framework (UAF), and Systems Modeling Language (SysML).
• Write validation rules/suite for use within defined customer process.
• Serve as modeling Subject Matter Expert (SME) for PEO Aviation programs.
• Develop and maintain Cameo EA SysML and UAF models to support MOSA objectives.
• Provide technical expertise on architecture development, reviewing models developed by POs and contractors.
• Evaluate software component models to support component reusability analysis.
• Participate in PEO Aviation SE, MBSE and DE working groups.
Required Qualifications:
• Candidate must be a U.S Citizen with an active DoD Clearance
• Candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in a STEM field/focus from an accredited college/university.
• At least 10 years of hands-on systems engineering experience, preferably on DoD Mission, Aircraft or Weapons Systems
• At least 5 years of hands on MBSE experience (CAMEO/ MAGICDRAW)
• Experience in other engineering disciplines (software, test, cyber, electrical, etc.) Desired Qualifications:
• Experience with Future Vertical Lift (FVL) Architecture Framework (FAF)
• Experience with Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) Technical Standard
• Experience with Technical Standard for Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA)
• Experience with C5ISR/EW Modular Open Suite of Standards (CMOSS)
• Experience with CMOSS Mounted Form Factor (CMFF)
• Experience with emerging SysML v2 standard.
