Senior System Engineer - SCI

SCI is seeking to hire a Senior Systems Engineer in the Orlando area. This is an exciting and engaging consulting role in a fast-paced environment. Long-term engagement with potential to extend.

Onsite/ Hybrid/ Remote: Onsite: 2x - 4x week (subject to change).

Duration: 12 months

Work Authorization: GC, USC

Preferred Qualifications

• Rancher Kubernetes Containerization Experience
• Akamai (CDN)
• Containerization Experience (Docker or Kubernetes)
• AVI Load balance Experience
• Global On-Call Experience Enterprise Support

Basic Qualifications

• Carries and maintains a relevant and up to date skill set in the areas of Linux, Windows, VMware, clustering technologies, resilient infrastructure design and deployment and automation.
• Individual must be highly resourceful and independent with the ability to quickly learn multiple disciplines and achieve manufacturer certification levels
• Ability to describe and differentiate the features, benefits and disadvantages of competing virtualization and cloud platforms
• Proven experience in overseeing the design, development and implementation of software systems, applications, and related products.
• Improve automation and productivity of provisioning and maintenance through scripting enhancements
• The ideal candidate will have expertise in multiple Public Cloud providers like AWS, Google Cloud Services, Azure and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

Required Education:

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree/work experience.
