Senior Systems Administrator
RFG is looking for an experienced, self-starter, and solutions-driven professional to join our technology team to help oversee the in-house MSP we've built over the past year to support our independent Financial Advisors. This is a service of our platform that is both unique to RFG and a tremendous value add for our Advisors.
Reporting to the Director of Technology, the successful candidate will perform a critical role in the configuration and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, helping to ensure secure and efficient operation of IT systems both physically and virtually. Birmingham, AL is where the position is located and although we are not entertaining a remote position, we will consider applicants willing to relocate to the Birmingham area. Some travel is required.
Responsibilities:
- Active Directory
- Cybersecurity
- DLP, Azure ATP, 0365 ATP, etc
- Provision PCs for new hires
- Create and enhance standard operating procedures
- Routine monitoring of backups and patch maintenance
- System Administration for all core IT infrastructure including but not limited to Servers, DCs, Firewalls, 0365, Azure, MDM, etc
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex hardware, software, and networking problems (level II support as needed)
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years working with as a System Administrator
- Demonstrated experience successfully managing group policy, AD, and corporate IT environments in their entirety
- Must have experience in Enterprise (+50 user) environment
- Prior success working with greenfield projects that require problem solving
- Experience in securing and hardening of these platforms (CISA/DISA/STIG)
- Bachelor's degree an Information Systems-related field preferred; but experience is more heavily weighted than formal education
- Ability and willingness to take ownership for tasks and projects, including researching new solutions and adapting to changes in technology trends
- Desire and ability to learn new emerging technologies from Microsoft and other key partners
