We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Survey Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Survey Technician, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and executing surveying activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about surveying and eager to take on leadership responsibilities within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- As a Senior Survey Tech, you will be responsible for leading surveying projects from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the process.
- Utilize advanced surveying equipment, including total stations and GPS receivers, to collect precise data in the field.
- Oversee survey crews and provide guidance and support to junior team members.
- Analyze survey data and prepare detailed reports and maps for use by project managers and engineers.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure surveying requirements are met and projects stay on schedule.
- Maintain and manage survey equipment inventory, ensuring everything is in working order for upcoming projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying, with a focus on fieldwork and data analysis.
- Proficiency in operating surveying equipment and software, including total stations and CAD software.
- Strong understanding of surveying principles and techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
