Senior Superintendent - Travel, MEP

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Superintendent to oversee a large project with a lot of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) on-site. The ideal candidate will manage multiple aspects of construction, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves significant travel to project sites, demanding strong leadership and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all MEP construction activities on-site.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth execution of work.
• Manage project budgets and track costs related to MEP installations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality control.
• Facilitate communication among project stakeholders to resolve any issues that arise during construction.
• Review and approve material procurement processes for MEP components and systems.
• Utilize 3D modeling tools to visualize MEP installations and improve coordination efforts.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry, specifically with MEP systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Experience in budget management and cost control.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling software for construction projects.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices.
• Ability to travel frequently to various project sites as required.
