Job Title: Senior Structural Estimator

Job Location: North DC Area open to relocation

Salary

$140k-$180k

We are a well-established subcontractor with a wide range of projects across commercial, Institutional K-12 markets.

Position Overview

This role requires a deep understanding of construction processes and the ability to analyze project specifications and plans.

What You Will Be Doing

• Read and understand job bid instructions, detailed specifications, prepare a "take off" of materials included in the job
• Estimate all necessary labor, materials, buyout items, equipment costs (including crane costs) to prepare a through price estimate.
• Review proposals, specifications, drawing, attend pre-bid meetings, etc &to determine scope of work and develop quantity take-offs
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Structural concrete experience nice to have
• You must have knowledge of material and labor cost estimates, and must be able to work
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Nice to have: Experience with takeoffs, familiarity with estimating practices (OST)
  
  

This role comes with a competitive salary of $140,000 - $180,000 per year. We also offer attractive bonuses and commissions, as well as a range of perks and benefits.
