- Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer
- Job Location: Los Angeles, Anaheim, or San Diego office
- Job Salary: $110K to $130K Base
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to lead and manage structural engineering projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in seismic design and evaluation, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards while delivering innovative and effective structural solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Conduct seismic design and evaluation of structures to assess their safety and performance under seismic loads.
- Utilize advanced software tools such as ETABS, SAP2000, and Revit for structural analysis and design.
- Perform linear and nonlinear analysis of structures to determine their behavior under various loading conditions.
- Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, and design documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with ASCE 41 and other standards.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop integrated design solutions.
- Mentor and train junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in structural engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Structrual Engineer (SE) license required.
- 5 to 7+ years of experience in structural engineering
- Proficient in structural analysis softwares such as ETABS, SAP2000, MathCAD, AutoCAD, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of materials including steel, concrete, and masonry.
- Familiarity with seismicity and relevant building codes and standards in the state of CA.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
