Senior Structural Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

Selectek is partnering with a company near Jacksonville, Florida to find a Senior Structural Engineer. This firm specializes in civil and structural engineering for large-scale industrial projects, so candidates need to have extensive experience in that field.

Employment Type: Temp to Direct
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Expected Pay Range: $45.00-$60.00 per hour before conversion
This quickly-growing company is opening new office space in Jacksonville as part of its expansion.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Structural, Civil, or Architectural Engineering.
- PE license in Florida or nearby states that recognize reciprocity
- 10+ years of experience with industrial projects
- Proficiency in engineering calculations and creation of analysis models
- Ideal candidates have experience with Pulp/Papermill or similar bulk materials
In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.

Job Duties:
- Lead design team and oversee drawing/designing/modeling
- Create layouts for new structures and equipment in industrial settings
- Perform engineering studies and calculations for analysis models as required
- Develop bid packages and obtain quotes for engineering, equipment, materials and services
- Provide field engineering support during installation
- Coordinate activities with maintenance and production teams, as well as contractors
- Collaborate with new and existing clients to determine project scope, develop estimates and create timelines for project completion
