Senior Structural Engineer Opportunity - Orange County, CA
Required Experience:
PERSONALITY OF IDEAL: Someone who enjoys a family-oriented culture and longevity. Looking for an experienced Project Engineer that can supervise others if needed and grow into leadership role at the firm.
SALARY: $130K-$160K + discretionary bonuses (mid and end of year)
Monday - Friday 8am-pm in office.
Candidate’s responsibilities and tasks:
- Small family firm with a book of business set through the next 5-10 years
- Path to ownership and or equity
- Looking for a leader / senior level structural engineer to guide others.
Required Experience:
- 10+ years experience in structural engineering with PE or SE license and strong concrete design
- Proficient in ADAPT, RAM, RISA, Enerclac, Word and Excel
- Concrete design for high density and tilt up HIGHLY PREFERRED
- experience with steel, timber and masonry
- Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering degree

Candidate’s responsibilities and tasks:
- Take full responsibility during the entire duration of projects from their inception through the end of construction including making decisions regarding construction type and framing systems, preliminary layout of gravity and lateral systems, design development, construction documents and permitting, construction administration, and site observations.
- Run multiple projects concurrently. Interact and exchange ideas with engineers and draftsmen within the company and coordinate projects with architects, consultants, and contractors.
- Communicate effectively with clients and coworkers.
- Possess extensive knowledge of building codes and their economic implementation.
- Be proficient in the use of ADAPT, RAM, RISA, Enercalc, Word, and Excel.
- Be familiar with the use of AutoCAD and Revit.
