Senior Structural Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

Selectek is searching for a Senior Structural Engineer to manage projects for commercial, retail, office, healthcare, and industrial clients.
Required:

• • Perform structural design calculations for wood, concrete, structural steel, and masonry structures
  • Manage assigned projects from schematic design through construction
  • Research code issues
  • Perform structural assessments and write technical reports
  • Review drawings supplied by vendors, clients, and engineers and architects and recommend necessary changes

• • BSCE or MSCE degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Licensed Professional Engineer – Preferred (open to EIT)
  • Experience with (RAM, Risa, Adapt, Revit.)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Job order details:  They are looking for a structural engineer with 8 or more years of experience to come in and manage projects and perform calcs on wood, concrete, and steel structures.  They use RAM, RISA, and Revit.  It is okay if they have either RAM OR RISA.  The candidate does not have to have a PE.  They could have an EIT or be on their way to a PE.  Salary is going to depend on experience. 
Pay range:  $38.46/hour - $48.08/hour ($80,000 - $100,000 annual salary)
Term of assignment: 6 month temp to perm
Hours and shift: 8AM – 5PM, Monday to Friday
Remote/Work from home: Charlotte, Greenville, or Atlanta
Overtime expected: possible
Travel: none
Work attire: Business Casual
