What you’ll do:- Lead and contribute to the design and development of robust, scalable server-side components within our platform.
- Collaborate closely with our AI/ML team to integrate advanced algorithms into back-end systems, ensuring seamless data processing and delivery.
- Design, implement, and test APIs and data pipelines to support complex strategies and analytics.
- Continuously improve and refine the back-end architecture, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Monitor and analyze system performance to optimize for reliability and efficiency.
- Mentor junior engineers, sharing your expertise in back-end development and financial technology.
- Contribute to the technical vision of our platform, driving innovation and excellence in back-end solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and the highest quality standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 6+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend technologies
- Proven experience with Django
- Proficiency in Python
- Extensive knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS preferred) and deployment tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of API design, development, and integration, including REST and GraphQL
- Experience with database design and management, including relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) systems
- Experience working in SaaS environments, particularly within the financial technology sector
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in financial modeling or quantitative analysis
- Familiarity with hedging strategies and financial market operations
- Experience with Python
- Familiarity with AI/ML integration in front-end applications
- Expertise in containerization technologies like Docker/Kubernetes
- Experience with service monitoring, metrics, and log aggregation
