Summary: The Senior Accountant will be responsible for AR &AP, Balance sheet account reconciliations, Journal entry preparations, assisting with audit preparations, ad hoc reporting and other accounting duties as assigned by management.

Pay Range: $40 - $45/HR W2

Summary: The Senior Accountant will be responsible for AR &AP, Balance sheet account reconciliations, Journal entry preparations, assisting with audit preparations, ad hoc reporting and other accounting duties as assigned by management.
Duties/Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor Accounts Payable and Receivable, day-to-day transactions. Assist with managing cash balances by analyzing current cash position, Bank reconciliations, daily cash reporting, and Accounts receivable, assist with payment applications and processing of Journal entries.
- Records, and reconciles cash transactions, including cash receipts. Reconciles accounts receivable and resolves discrepancies. Reviews and reports on aged accounts receivable
- Prepare required information and support tax preparation inquiries including schedules and information in support of independent audit and income tax return preparation by external tax accountant.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations. General Ledger account analysis, and P&L impact analysis. And advises staff Accountant on proper accounting treatment for vendor invoices, employee travel accounting, and other disbursement matters.
- Expense report analysis and management of T&E including processing of T&E voucher at month end. Maintain SOP’s
- Perform research and provide information as requested, review financial statements, and assist with month end closing tasks and audits.
- Be the SME for accounting processes and work with other departments and functional areas within the company.
- Assist the Finance department, IT and other teams with research during month end and responding to questions that pertain to close and monthly reports.
- Other ad hoc responsibilities as assigned by the Controller.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting with minimum of 5 years’ experience in GL reconciliations, Month end close P&L analysis.
- Demonstrate ability to coordinate multiple assignments simultaneously in an accurate and on a timely basis, and;
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail with excellent organization and time management skills.
- NetSuite experience required.
