Client Overview:
Our client is a well-established and growing non-profit/government-funded organization that is looking to add a Senior Staff Accountant. This organization is looking for someone professional who can work on a team just as effectively as they can work independently. A minimum of 2 – 4 years of experience in general accounting with non-profit and government accounting experience is a big plus.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$35/hr – $40/hr
Position Overview:
Applicants for the Senior Staff Accountant role must have strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Our client is looking for previous experience with full-cycle accounts payable, general accounting, and grant accounting experience.
Responsibilities of the Senior Staff Accountant:
- Matching, batching, coding, and entering invoices.
- Researching and resolving accounts payable with customers and vendors.
- Updating and reconciling sub-ledger to the general ledger.
Qualifications for the Senior Staff Accountant:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with independent work.
- Experience with ERP software is a plus.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Experience with non-profit and government software accounting experience is a plus.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required and equivalent experience.
