- Senior Staff Accountant/Analyst will prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, GAAP, ERP
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision making
- Analyze trends in revenues, expenses
- Provide insights into business performance and identify areas for improvement
- As a Senior Staff Accountant/Analyst, you will review journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting activities
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff or analysis
- Collaborate with other accounting departments
- Accounting software knowledge and tools for reporting and analysis
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Accounting, Finance, etc.)
- 3+ years of blended accounting and FP&A experience; Or an accountant with an analytical/inquisitive mindset (not just a basic accountant-someone who can be trained in analysis or has seen something analytical)
- Supervisory or Team lead positions experience
- Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
- Advanced, strong proficiency with Excel, and especially pivot tables and database queries such as VLOOKUP's is essential to the position as well as the ability to work with very large data sets
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Payroll experience highly preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
