About the Job
As a SRE Lead - Toil Analysis, you will be responsible for driving and implementing initiatives to reduce toil and improve overall system reliability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize areas for process automation, enabling teams to focus on innovation and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Lead a team of engineers and collaborate with other teams to develop strategies for toil analysis and automation
• Identify areas of high toil within the infrastructure and prioritize them for intervention
• Design and implement automated solutions to reduce toil and increase system reliability
• Develop metrics and reports to measure the impact of toil reduction efforts
• Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of learning and professional development
• Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in SRE and automation
Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in solution architecture with a focus on cloud solutions and reliability engineering
• Previous experience in a leadership role within a Site Reliability Engineering team
• Proven track record of improving system reliability and reducing operational overhead through automation
• Strong understanding of SRE principles and best practices
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages, such as Python, Go, or Ruby
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
