Job Description: Create, code, and maintain databases, business logic, and systems using coding languages and SQL Server Data tools. Design and develop ETL and ELT data flow processes and frameworks, including data extraction from source systems to staging, relational, and dimensional databases. Maintain a high level of data quality through ongoing analysis and auditing of all data used in reporting. Work with internal customers to ensure timely resolution of data issues. Work closely with other SQL Developers, BI Developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers to create and convert business requirements into executable/actionable work items. Perform query tuning, optimizing processes involving large data sets to improve performance. Analyze execution plans postcapturing, analyze index usage, and optimize indexes for workload. Document business intelligence designs, solutions, and best practices. Interface with associates from all departments within the company. Prioritize and manage development tasks. Respond to ad hoc data and analysis requests as assigned by the manager. Position allows for partial remote work. Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company office in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Job Requirements: Requires a Master’s in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field and 2 years of related experience. Must have experience in each of the following skills: Designing data warehouse projects on Microsoft SQL Server; Creating and maintaining T-SQL database tables, queries, stored procedures, functions, indexes, and triggers; Troubleshooting and fixing SQL agent job errors during On Call rotations; Creating and maintaining SSIS ETL/ELT packages; Creating and maintaining scripts in C#, Python, and PowerShell languages; Creating and maintaining data transfer pipelines for SFTP, AWS S3, and Azure Blob Storage; and File security and encryption methods including PGP, GPG, and SSH transfers.
