What You'll Do

1. Architect and build tools that power efficient tax calculation validation
2. Design and extend partner APIs that make integration seamless
3. Create intuitive UIs that transform complex tax concepts into delightful user experiences
4. Collaborate across engineering, tax analysis, product, and design teams
5. Shape product and engineering roadmaps with significant autonomy

Ideal Candidate Background

1. 4-6 years of software engineering experience
2. Strong backend development skills (Go, Python, C++, Ruby)
3. Full-stack capabilities with emphasis on backend systems
4. Track record of meaningful impact at early-stage startups
5. Experience leading technical projects and mentoring others

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience at high-growth technology companies
2. Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
3. History of collaborative problem-solving
4. Passion for financial inclusion and social impact

Compensation & Benefits

1. Base Salary: $160,000 - $250,000
2. Equity: 0.20% - 0.30%
3. Hybrid work environment (2-3 days in office)
