Azure Data Manager for Energy is a GA product and work with teams both within and outside Microsoft, this includes Oil and Gas Platform pioneers Schlumberger, and you will get the opportunity to contribute to the open-source data platform OSDU - Open Subsurface Data Universe
We are looking for a highly motivated, self-driven Senior Software Engineer with demonstrated collaboration skills. We are looking for an engineer who has a deep sense of pride and personal accountability for end-to-end quality, product completeness, and has a desire to create intuitive and impactful experiences that will be validated using a data driven approach.
**Responsibilities**
We are looking for an individual who is a self-starter and will grow into an expert or technical leader in design and implementation for the next generation of cloud platform capabilities that we are building. ?You will be expected to work collaboratively within the team and provide technical oversight to feature crews, work through competing priorities, and solve complex technical challenges to meet business goals and maintain live site availability.
+ Design and develop large scale solutions which are modularized, secure, reliable, diagnosable, and reusable.
+ Drive modern software engineering practices through design and code reviews.
+ Focus on end-to-end integration across multiple components.
+ Leveraging user feedback/telemetry to make decisions.
+ Improve test coverage, organize release.

**Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
+ OR equivalent experience.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
+ OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 2+ years experience with kubernetes and other cloud native technologies
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
