Senior Software Engineer/Java/Big Data/Hybrid at Motion Recruitment

A global leader in retail/e-commerce is looking to add a Sr. Software Engineer to their team. You will be building out 2 brand new greenfield products for their shares services division. They provide a lot of big data solutions and API development for a variety of internal stakeholders and teams. Ideal candidates have strong skills in Java, Springboot/Spring, GCP or AWS, and big data tooling (Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Cassandra). 

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience with Java/Springboot
• Experience with deployments in cloud environments
• Proven ability to work with big data tooling (Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, Cassandra
• Microservice based architecture and design
• Proven track record in building API's (RESTful/GraphQL)

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience working within the retail/e-commerce space
