TITLE: Senior Software Engineer II

LOCATION: Mount Laurel, NJ

CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Active DoD Secret Clearance

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time, On-site

POSITION SUMMARY

Modern Government Solutions (MGS) is seeking a multi-faceted Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software systems. In addition, the Senior Software Engineer will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will provide support on various projects, so the ability to adapt and prioritize projects is essential. As a senior engineer, you will be an integral and important part of the team and the projects they will support.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Must possess or be able to obtain and/or maintain an active DoD Secret security clearance.
• S Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• 10-15 years of experience related software development experience, specifically C/C++.
• Experience working with Embedded and/or Real Time systems, specifically DoD sensor equipment.
• Experience working in Linux and Windows environments.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience developing, integrating and testing with Radar Systems.
• Experience implementing DSP or similar algorithms.
• Experience integrating software and hardware systems.
• Strong math background with strong analytical skills.
• S Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience working with the following: Qt Creator, Visual Studio, Git, GitLab, GitHub, Google Test, CxxTest, xUnit, CMake.
• Software Development experience with continuous integration, test-driven development.
• Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
