Experience with the Search or Discover Infra full-stack (PIPS, SR, GWS, Muppet, Laelaps, Footprints, Kansas, Logs, etc.).Experience in production of large scale distributed systems.Experience with Search Eval, Mendel, Rasta, etc.Experience with experimental design. Responsibilities Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.Contribute to the LE metrics pillar of the Eval Platform, improve the end-to-end (e2e) experimentation journey and tooling, including simplifying LE setup, faster evaluation and decision making, better simulation metrics in RUFE, automated launch clean up. Responsible for infrastructure stack management and optimization, automation and infrastructure of a service, monitoring of infrastructural components within the large scale systems, whole-stack understanding, system design, and sampling optimization.
