Your expertise in Angular and Flutter will be key in ensuring consistency, scalability, and efficiency across our web and mobile platforms. Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the development and upkeep of a comprehensive design system for the company, covering UI components, patterns, documentation, and guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to grasp requirements and translate them into scalable design system solutions.
- Develop and refine UI components and layouts using Angular, React, and Flutter frameworks, ensuring seamless cross-platform compatibility and optimal performance.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and mentor junior team members to foster best practices and continuous improvement.
- Actively participate in QA testing throughout the design system implementation process by aligning the engineering build with the intended design.
- Keep a finger on the pulse of industry trends, emerging technologies, and front-end development best practices to drive innovation and uphold competitiveness.
- Partner with the company's accessibility expert to champion and prioritize accessible code.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in front-end development, with a focus on crafting design systems for complex web and mobile applications.
- Proficiency in React and Flutter frameworks, coupled with a deep understanding of their ecosystems, architecture, and best practices.
- Solid grasp of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, design tokens, and responsive design principles.
- Experience with modern front-end tooling and collaboration with Designers using Figma.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., GitLab, Bitbucket) and agile development methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate effectively within distributed team environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail, and a dedication to delivering top-notch user experiences.
- Experience with design system repositories such as Supernova and Zeroheight is a plus.
