AcuityMD is a software and data platform that accelerates access to medical technology. Each year, the FDA approves ~6,000 new medical devices. Our platform helps MedTech companies get these products to physicians more effectively so they can improve patient care with the latest technology. We help MedTech companies identify how their products are used, understand why outcomes vary, and identify opportunities where physicians can better serve their patients.
We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing Infrastructure team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies that power our entire product. You will be architecting our cloud infrastructure, strengthening our security best practices, and improving the scalability of our product and the velocity of our entire engineering team.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate and improve our existing observability and alerting solutions for our production systems.
- Increase deployment velocity & reliability by extending CI/CD adoption across all services and environments.
- Automate our cloud architecture via Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
- Work closely with other engineers to solve reliability and development velocity problems.
- Design and implement security controls and provide guidance to other engineers on security best practices.
- Provide architecture guidance for all new services and infrastructure.
- Provide technical leadership and direction on projects to choose the best architecture, tools, and design.
Your Profile
- 5+ years of experience as a professional software engineer.
- Enterprise experience with Kubernetes.
- Passion and interest in improving engineering security practices and security tasks.
- Experience with GCP/AWS and cloud architectures/services.
- Experience working with infrastructure provisioning tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, etc.
- Experience enabling CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI, GitLab, Jenkins, or others.
- Solid background in computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Experience in the reliability and performance space.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with SOC 2 compliance.
You must have an eligible work permit in the USA or Canada to be considered for this position.
