You will be a hands-on technical lead. You will work with customers to gather requirements and generate technical designs to carry the project through all the software lifecycle stages. You'll develop products that enable network engineers to develop and operate robust, high-quality networks safely, securely, and reliably deploy it. You will have an opportunity to work directly with data and models to analyze network performance intelligently. You will use your strong leadership and communication skills to mentor other engineers and provide training and support for our technologies. We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Seattle, WA, USA Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience - 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team Preferred Qualifications - 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent - Experience with large-scale distributed systems, multi-threaded programming, virtualization, complex data, models (statistical or ML) Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $134,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market.
