Northwest Alabama Council of Local Governments is hiring for:
Senior Services Specialist - Grade 7
Salary Range: $49,129.60 - $75,712.00
Essential Functions:
Senior Center support to facilitate programs and processes to ensure effective and efficient operations of the Centers. Performs tasks and processes designed to support Aging Services in accomplishing Aging Services Operational goals. Manages Title II-D Disease Prevention & Health Promotion Services. Administrator and trainer for Aging Services software programs. Community Ombudsman backup. ADRC point-of-contact backup.
Minimum Qualifications:
Possess a bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field from an accredited college or university. Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience; experience with Aging population preferred. Any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the listed knowledge, skills, and abilities commensurate with the requirements of the job may be considered. Successful background check. Current and valid drivers license. Insurable under NACOLG vehicle insurance policy. Ability to attain and maintain designated certifications and credentials. Ability to engage in overnight travel to attend meetings and training sessions.
