We are looking for a Senior Scientific Communications and Training Specialist to join our team and support the development of materials for our clinical and research operations. In this role, you will ensure that regulatory and clinical processes are clearly articulated for diverse audiences. Position Overview 
In this role, you will lead work across cross-functional teams, including regulatory, clinical, and project management professionals, to develop clear, effective communication and training materials. These materials will support the adoption of new processes, SOPs, and best practices in clinical research. You’ll create content for a range of formats, including written guides, presentations, and multimedia resources, to ensure clear understanding across all teams. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
 
Content Development and Review: 

• Collaborate with regulatory and clinical teams to review scientific content, including SOPs, guidelines, training materials, and technical documents. 
• Translate complex scientific and regulatory concepts into clear, accessible language for both technical and non-technical audiences. 
• Ensure all communications are accurate, consistent, and aligned with regulatory standards and internal policies. 

Training and Educational Material Creation: 

• Design and create educational resources, such as presentations, guides, and infographics, to support the training of teams on regulatory processes. 
• Develop engaging multimedia content (e.g., videos, animations) to enhance understanding and retention of key concepts, which may include incorporating the individual’s voice or image as part of the content creation process. 
• Ensure all materials are tailored to the needs of the audience, from clinical researchers to project managers. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

• Partner with subject matter experts, including clinical researchers, regulatory specialists, and project managers, to ensure accurate and clear communication of scientific concepts and guidelines. 
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of communication and training resources based on feedback and evolving best practices. 

Project Support: 

• Support the development of meeting summaries, reports, manuscripts, and data-driven products by collaborating with scientific and research teams. 
• Provide communication expertise for scientific presentations, meetings, and outreach efforts. 

Requirements 

• Master’s degree or PhD in Communications, Science Communication, Life Sciences, or a related field 
• 5 years of relevant experience, including leadership within scientific communication/training roles 
• Experience in scientific writing or communications within a clinical, healthcare, or research setting 
• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex scientific information clearly and concisely 
• Proven experience garnering multiple stakeholder buy-in including clients 
• Proficiency in developing multimedia content, including video editing and graphic design, to support educational initiatives 
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with a range of stakeholders 
• Strong organizational skills 
• Proactive and self-motivated
