Senior Scheduler

Pay Rate: $126,600 - $174,000/year
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Scheduler to be responsible for developing and maintaining all levels of schedules, for proposals, preconstruction and detailed construction schedules initially for a large Federal project. This is an onsite position.
Responsibilities
- Manage and control all scheduling data through project management software (Primavera P6)
- Instruct others or make presentations regarding CPM methods and concepts
- Lead planning efforts with project personnel to determine phasing and logistic options
- Prepare CPM scenarios for management consideration and incorporate final approach into a complete CPM schedule
- Evaluate schedules and updates prepared by others and make recommendations as to their completeness, accuracy and representation as to project status
- Forecast schedule and costs influencers
- Communicate with Owner to assure Customer Satisfaction or implement corrective action when needed
- Perform schedule and delay analysis and present recommendations to management
- Ensure that project teams are aware of and properly respond to risks relative to schedule and delay
- Provide oversight and notification to management of any concerns regarding contract notice, delay and proper documentation of project schedules
- Execute multiple duties and responsibilities efficiently
- Write all forms of professional correspondence
- Participate in formal proposals and interviews for prospective projects
- Accurately document schedule basis in narrative identifying critical assumptions for internal use, GMP’s and Owner documentation
- Document delay and claim issues
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- BS in Engineering, Architecture or related field
- 5-10 years relevant experience
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Vertical Federal construction experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Proficient with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office software, including Microsoft Project
