About the Job
We are seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join our team supporting a Federal government client.
The selected candidate will play an integral role in providing expert-level technical direction in support of the client's SAP S/4 HANA platform development along with associated environments and components.
- Developer will work on the SAP ECC to S/4 Hana migration project, including code remediation and S4 Fiori development with subject matter expertise of latest SAP technologies.
- Program concepts in SAP modules such as FI/CO/MM/AM/PPS procurement.
- Work collaboratively with other developers and business analysts to ensure success of the S/4 migration project.
- Deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements. Developer will provide daily support in the SAP environment, including resolving help desk tickets on security assignments and issues and uploads.
Position is remote within US.
*Position is contingent on contract award.
Project Specific Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or 5 additional years of experience required.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience required
- Knowledge and experience with Federal government implementations of SAP S/4HANA
- Experience implementing and migrating to SAP HANA
- Hands-on experience in implementing SAP ABAP modules/concepts
- Experience with ECC to S4 migration and code remediation
- SAP S/4 HANA Technical Concept and Architecture knowledge.
- Experience with SAP S/4 HANA Code Remediation and Code Compliance techniques.
- Experience with ABAP Development Tools (ADT) and/or HANA Developer Studio.
- Experience with BDC's, BAPI's, Module Pool Programming, User Exits, Enhancement Framework
- Experience with interfaces of different types - SOA and REST based services, etc.
- Experience developing custom and standard SAP applications using S/4 HANA technologies.
- Front-end GUI/SAP development experience using SAP UI5 and the backend business logic using ABAP Objects.
- Experience working in an Agile DevSecOps environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Additional requirements as per Contract/Client:
- Candidates must meet requirements to obtain and maintain Moderate Risk MBI.
- Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for at least three (3) years, and Federal Tax compliant
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of complex software applications from business requirements in collaboration with other team members
- Investigate new solutions, tools, products, and techniques to incorporate into coding standards.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and produce detailed proposals to resolve.
- Support testing and remediate defects
- Guide, coach, and mentor entry and mid-level developers

- 7-10 years of relevant professional experience required.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree .
