About the Job
We’re seeking a Senior Sales Manager for our Houston office! At KK Wind Solutions, a world-leading partner to the wind industry, we supply a wide range of components and solutions to wind turbine manufacturers and operators globally. As part of our Monitoring Solutions business unit, you'll play a key role in helping asset operators extend the lifetime and enhance the performance of wind turbines by promoting cutting-edge digital solutions in safety and condition monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary goal will be to meet sales targets and contribute to the company’s growth and profitability. To achieve this, you will:
- Develop and implement sales strategies for TCM and PCH across the US and Canada.
- Engage with key stakeholders, from C-level executives within the Asset Owner segment to technical experts, to foster strong customer relationships.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
- Negotiate contracts, ensuring alignment between customer requirements and those of KK.
- Provide technical and commercial support throughout the sales process.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver an excellent customer experience and effectively present KK's product portfolio.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and gather customer feedback.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to post-sales support.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and regularly report on sales activities and outcomes.
- Expand the use of TCM and PCH in both new and existing wind turbine generator (WTG) fleets.
- Represent KK Wind Solutions at industry events.
Our Requirements
The candidate must be able to document sales results and have a minimum of 10 years of sales experience of technically complex solutions and services within B2B.
- Experience in the wind industry, ideally from a technology/service provider, wind turbine manufacturer, or wind asset operator, with a focus on sales and business development.
- Proven track record as a Senior Sales Manager or similar in project sales, capable of handling complex stakeholder environments and lengthy sales processes.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- An educational background in economics with a personal interest in technology. Alternative an engineering degree combined with an MBA or similar.
- A self-driven, creative, detail-oriented, and persistent approach to customer interactions, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Willingness to travel to the customers’ locations in the US and Canada.
