Your impact as a Senior Risk Consultant
Aon is looking for an experienced Senior Risk Consultant to own and advance risk management strategies and best practices for the organization’s internal and external clients. This person is accountable for identifying, evaluating and developing risk-related mitigation education and techniques to support Aon Affinity’s Healthcare Division business and clients of Aon Affinity’s Healthcare Division brands.
The Senior Risk Consultant will work with the Vice President and the Healthcare Business Leaders regarding professional liability insurance programs to plan, organize, and direct all aspects of risk management activities for internal and external clients that comply with state laws, regulations, standards of the profession, and accrediting and approval agencies. This position also manages the Business Continuity program.
What your day will look like:
- Create and deploy claims reports/white papers, articles and newsletters.
- Manage content development for webinars and speaking engagements at Healthcare conferences.
- Create continuing education materials for healthcare’s various CE programs.
- Research, create, and manage ad hoc risk control content for internal and external partners.
- Analyze claims and legal implications to develop customized risk assessment tools for internal and external partners.
You Bring Knowledge and Expertise
Required Experience:
- 3+ Healthcare industry and/or risk management experience
- 3+ Insurance industry and/or benefits experience
- Client Facing and/or public speaking experience
- Strong working knowledge of Healthcare Professions
- Strong organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills
- Adaptable/flexible
- Travel required: approximately 30%
Preferred Experience:
- CPHRM designation preferred
- Strong knowledge of healthcare clinical fundamentals, patient safety standards, and performance
- improvement standards.
- Developing Continuing Education experience preferred
- Property & Casualty license preferred
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience.

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $100,000 to $120,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
