We are looking for a Senior Resident Engineer to join our Federal Professional Services team, reporting to the manager of Federal Professional Services. This role will be onsite in Tampa, FL. In this role, you will prepare and validate equipment configurations for new installations, troubleshoot network issues, and assess the overall health of the Infoblox infrastructure at the client’s location. What you’ll do:
- Implementation, integration, and migration planning
- Develop and maintain fault diagnosis procedures to support effective fault resolution
- Conduct network-related testing and validation testing to ensure our products operate correctly
- Support and plan for Infoblox migrations, including assistance with authoritative DNS migration
- Develop strategy and planning for DNSSEC deployment
- Manage scripted cutover procedures, determine go/no-go criteria for migration and Infoblox cutovers, and support miscellaneous scripting and Infoblox public API usage
- Participate in Architecture extensions for other functional areas
- Document how to migrate data to the Infoblox grid and the process for the bulk importing of data
- Lead project status and wrap-up/post-mortem meetings
- Develop tools as necessary to import/verify data, including record management process templates and documentation
What you’ll bring:
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Active TS/SCI clearance required
- 8-10 years of experience
- Extensive experience with Infoblox or DDI
- CCNA certification
- Demonstrated expertise in Linux/UNIX, MS Windows/Active Directory/Exchange, networking, service management, and service desk
- Excellent briefing skills and experience interacting with SES/general officer-level management
- Ad-hoc (as requested) written summary reports on equipment and network problems
- Experience with equipment test plans and results, feature and functionality test plans, network diagrams, and operations and support procedures
- Technical input to major service outage root cause analysis and corrective action reports
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory

In the first six months, you will…
- Become integrated with your customer and Infoblox processes and procedures
- Understand your customer’s technical needs and requirements and recommend solutions
- Work directly with your Infoblox sales team and manager on potential up-sell of products
- Complete all required Infoblox federal and technical training
After the first year, you will…
- Receive successful customer satisfaction surveys
- Work toward renewal of the Resident Engineer
