We are seeking a highly motivated senior research associate to join our discovery group. The candidate should have technical proficiency in various immunological and in vivo pharmacology assays. We are seeking collaborative individuals, who have a strong work ethic and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to contribute to the advancement of novel and next-generation therapeutics for an array of immunological disorders.
Key Responsibilities
Execute in vitro experiments on primary cells or cell lines to screen and select lead drug candidates
Perform multicolor flow cytometry and relevant immunological assays on blood and tissues from various rodent species and non-human primates (NHP) to evaluate
theefficacy and mechanism of action of drug candidates
Execute in vivo experiments in animal models of
immune-mediateddiseases
Design and troubleshoot experiments independently or with supervision
Analyze data independently or with supervision and present at various internal meetings
Demonstrate scientific rigor, maintain electronic lab notebooks
and comply with good laboratory practices
Collaborate within the team and cross-functionally as
necessary toadvance projects and meet company milestones
Minimum Qualifications
M.S in the field of biology, biotechnology, immunology
or a related discipline with 2 years of industry experience
Expertise in multicolor
flow cytometryand experience with various flow cytometers
Excellent tissue culture techniques including isolation and culture of various cell types from primary human cells, humanized mice
or NHP
Experience with Luminex, MSD
or ELISA
Proficiency with various immunological techniques including but not limited to ICS, cytotoxicity assays, cytokine bead array, ELISpot
etc
Research experience in
immune-mediateddiseases is desirable
