Senior Reliability Engineer / Balance of Plant (BOP) Engineer
Location: NW Atlanta, GA
Pay: ~ $110,000-$115,000
Join a leader in the heavy industrial sector as a Senior Balance of Plant (BOP) Engineer. You'll play a crucial role in the specification, coordination, and problem resolution of non-company engineered equipment. This position demands a highly organized professional capable of making impactful decisions regarding layout, schedule, and budget.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage documentation for BOP equipment proposals and projects
• Review client specifications and negotiate with vendors
• Create and review technical specs for RFQs
• Generate QRs and PRs
• Maintain clear communication with project managers, engineers, and vendors
• Coordinate drawing reviews and change orders
• Conduct limited field investigations
• Resolve construction and commissioning issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• 10+ years of heavy industrial experience with BOP functions
• Experience with bulk material movers, fans, blowers, bag houses, pneumatic conveying systems, and burners
• Proficient in reviewing and marking up drawings
• Strong communication and negotiation skills

Preferred:

• Reliability engineering experience
• Experience with international companies
• Basic AutoCAD and SAP knowledge
