Senior Recruiter - Maintenance - GAF

And under this roof, we protect what matters most. **Summary:** As the Senior Recruiter for GAF's Maintenance function, you will be primarily responsible for the full-cycle sourcing and recruitment process for exempt level industrial maintenance positions. May also be responsible for corporate and/or other manufacturing functions and locations as needed and assigned. This role requires an in-depth technical understanding of the maintenance & engineering functions within manufacturing facilities and the proven ability to successfully support complex and hard to fill roles. This is achieved through the development of sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative HR solutions. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities** **Recruiting (70%)** + As a senior member of a larger recruitment organization, demonstrate leadership, mentor peers and junior staff, and foster a collaborative work environment. + Direct and manage full-cycle recruiting efforts including talent sourcing, candidate evaluation & screening, interview process, offer negotiations, closeout process, and new hire onboarding + Leader of a consultative recruiting planning session with key stakeholders to establish expectations, timelines for the recruiting process and create the desired candidate profile + Develop sourcing strategy and establish desired communication protocol with the hiring manager and HR team + Experience managing professional level requisitions (15+ open requisitions) in multiple locations + Participate in our Career Fair events with a special emphasis on enhancing our Diversity & Inclusion initiatives (Women, Minorities, Military, and Disability) + Passive recruitment - source, evaluate and qualify top talent utilizing Applicant Tracking System/CRM, Internet Databases, and Social Media Platforms. + Lead unique staffing initiatives that may include searches for niche/emerging technological skillsets at all levels of recruitment + Pipeline Development - Build strategic relationships with local professional groups and affinity organizations. + Identify and leverage alternative sourcing methods + Develop and utilize tools to manage candidates in the pipeline and effectively track candidates collected through various sources to measure the effectiveness of sources. + Build, maintain and manage a well-developed network of candidates and /core skills to build a network quickly and comprehensively + Proactively research emerging talent trends and identify linkages to the GAF strategic business direction + Identify competencies required for each position. Use sourcing mechanisms that will attract candidates through the use of the internet job boards and niche sites, job fairs, college campus recruiting, agencies, and non-traditional sources + Qualify candidates based on job requirements, and apply behavioral-based interviewing techniques to assess knowledge and cultural fit + Work with hiring managers to identify the interview team as well as the behavioral-based competencies and interview questions that will be used for the interview process + Conduct interviews and facilitate the debrief session to make the final candidate selection + Upon selection, recommend and extend offers to candidates, work with the hiring manager, HR Business Partner, and Compensation Partners to review compensation data for offers. + Assess talent and make hiring recommendations + Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting + Serve as an integral part of the GAF team and as brand champion + Lead the gathering and analysis of marketplace data related to the labor market, competitors hiring trends, new sourcing avenues, etc. **Compliance/Administration (20%)** + Administer hiring processes to ensure adherence with all equal employment opportunity (EEO) legislation, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), veteran's hiring guidelines, and other government compliance requirements (OFCCP) + Provide reporting and regular status updates to the Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition and hiring manager as required. **Tech School Recruiting / Early Career (5%)** + Coordinate and support Tech School and College Recruiting Initiatives + Coordinate attendance at career fairs for recruiting + Develop working relationships within schools to aid in recruiting **Under This Roof, We Require** + Bachelor Degree or equivalent relevant work experience + Minimum 8 years experience in Corporate Recruiting or Agency Recruiting and/or relevant Technical/Industry Experience + Minimum 2 years experience supporting an industrial maintenance function, including the sourcing and recruitment of Reliability Engineers and Maintenance Supervisors or Managers. **Under This Roof, We Also Value** + Ability to successfully manage, prioritize and close recruiting searches within a timeline, using benchmarks and metrics. + Demonstrated reputation for finding and closing hard-to-find candidates. + Demonstrate exceptional customer and account management, organization, strong verbal and written communication skills, pushback and sense of urgency, and a deep understanding of providing sophisticated customer service. + Advanced project management skills + Advanced communication skills + Demonstrated business acumen + Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately + Produce results within a dynamic environment + Demonstrated flexibility; respond quickly to changes + Advanced organizational, interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills + Ability to build strong relationships and positively influence customers and colleagues + Strong problem-solving ability + Ability to accurately and articulately document necessary recruiting information. + Proven ability to take initiative and look beyond current position openings and identify strong industry talent + Intermediate understanding of AAP guidelines + Advanced business partnership skills + Advanced knowledge of standard HR concepts, practices, and procedures + Experience building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools including proactive phone and internet research. + Advanced knowledge of the professional search process, recruiting process, the non-exempt, and temporary staffing industry, and employment law + Fluent in G-Suite and MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook + Advanced proficiency in ATS systems **How We Protect What Matters Most** + We offer a wide range of health insurance options that include medical, dental, and vision for you and your family. + Our Family-Building benefits support the many different journeys to fertility and parenthood. + Our robust 401K plan includes an employer match contribution with your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions. + Other exciting programs and perks are available to help employees achieve work-life balance, including (but not limited to) a wellness program, free financial coaching, a referral program, and product rebates when purchased for an employee's primary residence. + Professional growth and development are very important to us!
