Job Description
- The Senior Recruiter will play a key role in driving recruiting strategies, scalable processes, and act as the subject matter expert for all talent acquisition needs in the region.
- In this role, the Senior Recruiter will partner with hiring managers and other cross functional partners to drive innovative talent acquisition solutions within the region.
- Your job will be to develop a recruitment strategy, recruit, and help to hire top talent that will support company growth.
- Our client is looking for a decision-maker with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- You need to be able to recognize and attract the best candidates for particular job positions.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Full life cycle recruiting that includes meeting with hiring managers to identify hiring needs, build an effective recruiting strategy, and set/manage clear process and delivery expectations
- Optimize operational process flows and identify ways to deliver a consistent, scalable, customer obsessed recruitment experience to all stakeholders
- Act as trusted partner, consultant, and advisor to hiring managers, HR Managers and HR Business Partners by developing and driving strategies to recruit talent in a highly competitive market
- Demonstrate all aspects of sourcing and candidate development including job posting, job board mining, internet sourcing, social networking, employee referrals, and networking events
- Ensure a positive candidate experience
- Manage overall data integrity within the applicant tracking system
Qualifications
- You are currently based and eligible to work in the Bloomfield Hills area
- 5+ years of previous experience in recruitment (combination of agency and in house is a plus)
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or another relevant field
Additional experience and skills that will set you apart:
- Must be able to handle a req load of 15-25 openings
- Experience with Engineering recruiting (Automotive industry experience is a big plus including OEM)
- Ability to translate business/organizational needs as they relate to recruiting lifecycle
- Candidate experience centric
- Lead with a customer centric approach with a proven ability to build trust and credibility with both candidates and hiring managers
- A highly structured and organized individual who can prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- A high attention to detail to identify risks, investigate and Client the key cause and impact of options, decisions and outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to use applicant tracking system and social media tools - Workday experience is a plus!
- An ability to work independently and drive recruiting seamlessly, quickly and with passion
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills, ability to influence, experience sourcing, screening and qualifying candidates
- Experience working in a highly collaborative environment and an international environment
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and an unmatched desire to provide excellent service to our candidates, hiring teams, and recruiting partners
- Is solution oriented, result driven, proactive and flexible
- Has a strong work ethic; self-directed, resourceful, works independently, motivated by own drive and passion, capable of working independently as well as working in a team
- Demonstrates personal accountability and integrity
Note:
- Must be able to work 3 days a week onsite in Bloomfield Hills, MI (Tues, Wed, Thur).
- Senior Recruiter in their Bloomfield Hills location that will work a split desk model with a Engineering sourcer.
- Experience in the automotive industry recruiting for related engineers is highly preferred..
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future as this is a temp to hire position.
- Remote only candidates will not be considered
