This role will support multiple real-time graphic systems by developing templates, creating workflows that work in different newsroom configurations, managing the equipment so that it performs optimally and sharing knowledge to others on the team.
Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Create and troubleshoot real-time graphic template building and augmented reality graphics using multiple platforms.
Work with Art Directors and the technical creative team to integrate new graphics into insert packages, virtual set systems and augmented reality systems.
Display proficient technical skills across multiple platforms while adhering to high production standards.
Work across multiple teams and systems in order to create innovative graphics.
Works closely with sports and news Producers to provide graphics support for studio show content.
Collaborate with experienced Graphics Operators, Production Operations Management and Engineering to troubleshoot system issues and support all graphics machines, software, plugins and workflow.
Participate in discussions relating to data feeds and help develop and maintain workflows that impact graphic templates on all platforms.
Lead cross-functional integrations from a graphic perspective.
Contribute to the implementation of templates that are created by graphics operators as well as the design department.
Define graphics workflows for on-air.
Mentor and train other real-time graphic specialists on all platforms.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge | |

Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphics Design or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Experience with graphics system in news or sports – 5+
Working experience in a control room to support various type of productions as well as knowledge of news, sports and remote productions
Preferred Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
HTML5 knowledge is a plus
Familiarity working with Dalet production workflow is a plus
Working Conditions
Office environment
May involve phone or physical presence at the facility for equipment failure or other issues that may arise. This includes but is not limited to severe weather emergencies
Must be able and willing to work various shifts, longer shifts, weekends and holidays, and be flexible with schedule changes due to “breaking news,” and/or severe weather emergencies
Travel: 15% where applicable

The base pay for this position generally is between $73,200.00 and $140,600.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
