Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Senior Railroad Bridge Engineer to assist on a variety of infrastructure projects in Jacksonville, FL! The Bridge Engineer will participate in the design of railroad bridge projects for public and private sector clients from scoping through construction phases.

- The selected candidate will work in the Infrastructure Department (Rail Discipline) on various projects including new or rehabilitated bridges, culverts, and associated site work.
- Work opportunities in other similar service lines may be available (bridge, highway, etc.) to broaden your career, or provide introductions in other groups/managers.
- Responsibilities will include the preparation of a variety of engineering analyses and computations, CAD drawings, technical reports and cost estimates.
- Close coordination with your engineering peers in the highway/traffic, construction inspection and water resource divisions.
- Occasional field work and bridge inspection duties may be required.
- Opportunities to experience and participate in the design of structural projects for other related Infrastructure Division departments including Rail, Waterway Structures and Hydropower.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- Masters degree a plus.
- 6-10 years of experience.
- PE required.
- Ability to work in a professional team-oriented environment.
- Strong work ethic and willingness for continued learning.
- Knowledge of AASHTO and AREMA design codes a plus.
- Knowledge using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation a plus.
- Must be able to comply with FRA 214 and 219.
- Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
