How You'll help us connect the world:
This position has responsibility for Process Development and Product Engineering of Fiber Cable designs used for the telecommunications industry. The scope includes all aspect of product and process design including process development, documentation, SAP information, project management, product and process qualification, and cost reduction activities. Works closely with Operations, Quality, Safety, and Product Line Management to ensure the product meets design objectives, and timelines. Additional responsibilities include execution of product strategy, meet product quality objectives, and meet product cost objectives.
Responsibilities:
+ Design and development of Fiber Cable processes for Fiber Cable products in the CCS business segment.
+ Ensure product compliance to all regulations.
+ Develop professional relationships and maintains communications with Process Engineering, Procurement, Operations including plant hourly personnel, PLM, and Sales.
+ Work with project management tools and oversees the timely execution of R&D projects.
+ Implement cost reduction activities including management, tracking, and implementing cost reduction projects in accordance with established policies.
+ Implement product and process specifications.
+ Ensure product reliability using statistical tools and industry standards.
+ Work with peers to achieve professional growth.
Requirements:
BS in Engineering along with 10 years of relevant engineering experience with knowledge of Fiber Cable: manufacturing processes, product design, regulatory requirements, and materials.
+ Statistical Analysis
+ Strong interpersonal communication skills
+ Advanced computer skills/experience
+ Microsoft Office (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
+ SAP skills
Candidate must be motivated, self-disciplined, an effective communicator, excel at time management, be able to work in a team environment.

Our salary ranges consider various factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skills, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with outstanding experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance. This position's expected total compensation (base salary ) is $102,800.00-$1323,600.00
