Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams, ensuring a high-performance culture centered on accountability and excellence.
2. Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ASQ, HACCP, SQF, and GMPs standards.
3. Oversee sanitation procedures and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
4. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
5. Utilize HPLC techniques to monitor and control the quality of our products.
6. Manage and resolve all quality-related issues within the dairy and milk production processes.
7. Work closely with the product development team to ensure quality considerations are integrated into product design and development.
8. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the quality awareness and competencies of the team.
9. Continuously monitor and report on quality metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
10. Act as the primary point of contact for all external quality audits and certifications.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Engineering, or related field. A Master's degree will be an added advantage.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior quality management role within the food and beverage industry.
3. Extensive knowledge and experience with ASQ, HACCP, Sanitation, SQF, GMPs, and HPLC.
4. Specific experience in dairy and milk production is highly desirable.
5. Proven track record in managing and leading high-performing quality assurance teams.
6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex quality concepts to a wide range of stakeholders.
8. Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
10. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Manager (CQM) from ASQ will be an added advantage.
11. Proficiency in using Quality Management software and related tools.
