About the Job
The Sr. Data Governance and Quality Analyst you will play a critical role in enhancing data governance and quality standards within our organization. Your responsibilities will include the implementation of data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure the integrity and reliability of our data. You will also play a criticalrole in the implementation of technologies aimed at improving our data quality capabilities and operational efficiency.
The candidate for this role possesses a robust grasp of Data Governance and Data Quality, standard software development practices, and a track record of collaborating with analytics and development teams. It requires clear communication of strategy and product vision with diverse business and corporate IT partners, and the translation of their needs into technical solutions and capabilities.
This position sits in our Enterprise Data and Analytics organization, which aims to drive improved business outcomes using insights gleaned from data and analytics, infusing them into Lennar’s corporate fabric and is a key role in operationalizing Lennar’s enterprise data fabric.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data governance frameworks and standards.
- Define and enforce data policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct data quality assessments and develop strategies to address data integrity issues.
- Define and implement data quality rules in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders, to proactively identify and resolve data quality issues.
- Partner with IT teams to evaluate and implement data management technologies and solutions.
- Provide guidance and support to business units on data governance and quality-related matters.
- Analyze data usage patterns and provide insights to stakeholders on opportunities for improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in data governance and quality management.
- Communicate the product roadmap, including prioritizing features and enhancements.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the effectiveness of data governance and quality initiatives, tracking progress, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Prioritize features and user stories based on business value and customer feedback.
- Present product plans and updates to executives as needed.
- Participate or lead training sessions, workshops to increase data literacy.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 10 years of experience in data quality, data governance, or related roles. Blend expertise in consulting methodologies with hands-on execution highly preferred.
- 5+ years in the ‘modern data stack’ – Snowflake, AWS, dbt, Prefect, etc
- Proficiency in data governance frameworks and standards (e.g., DAMA, DMBOK).
- Experience with data quality assessment tools and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Familiarity with data management technologies (e.g., data catalog, metadata management, data lineage).
- Experience driving product strategies, go-to-market strategies, roadmap, and design.
- Proficiency with SQL and RDMBS.
- Experience with Data Quality platform implementations and/or quality assurance experience.
- Strong expertise with Jira and Confluence.
- Strong communication skills with proven experience handling collaboration across executives and other stakeholder.
- Strong analytical skills, leading research, analysis, and data insights to inform decisions.

Physical Requirements:
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the Sr Technical Product Owner to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
