Compensation: $80,000 - $115,000 base salary (negotiable based on experience) plus 5% or more in bonuses.
Location: Redmond, WA. This role will be 100% onsite, with an option to work from home 2-3 days per month. The hired employee must live within daily commuting distance of Redmond, WA.

Key Responsibilities:
Use your knowledge of quality control and quality systems in developing and improving those aspects to ensure that the business meets internal, customer, regulatory, and AS9100 requirements.
Conduct internal audits and prepare summary reports.
Problem solve and troubleshoot using good judgment, to ensure robust root cause/corrective action non conformances on assigned customer products.
Foster a positive relationships with internal and external customers.
Leads Customer Returns from receipt to return shipment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high quality product is delivered to our customers.
While working with your team, act as the facilitator for leading cross functional teams for customer required RCCAs and MRB submissions.
Effectively communicate technical issues, solutions, ideas and concepts to a diverse audience including Program Managers, Customers, and Senior Leadership.
Ensure proper escalation of customer issues as required.
Maintain & report quality metrics
Participate in program and quality assurance reviews.
Performs direct correspondence with assigned Customers for Quality related requirements and issues
Leads and assists with internal, customer, or supplier audits and visits, including the completion of matrices and summary reports
Help gather and writing (NOEs) Notification of Escapement
Qualifications and Experience:
Any level degree in manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering or technical field, (or work-related experience in substitution)
5+ years in a Quality Engineer role in an manufacturing company or other highly regulated industries
Knowledge of GD&T and its principles, proficient in blueprint reading.
Ability to analyze data to use in sound decision making.
Knowledge of RCCA investigations, analysis, and implementation
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Project management skills
Professionalism in dealing with adverse or difficult situations
While the below qualifications are desired, they are not required for consideration:
- Knowledge of AS9100 Rev D and FAA requirements
- Certification as a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or a Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) preferred
- DMAIC and 8 Disciplines (8D) problem solving
- Six Sigma and Lean experience preferred.
