CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense TS security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Leading quality assurance teams, you'll design, implement and maintain quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products. This involves designing methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of processes, equipment and finished products.
What you'll experience:
Duties and Tasks:
• Designs methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy
of finished products
• Performs analysis of reports and data to identify trends and recommend updates or
changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary
• Provides technical review of contracts, SOWs, supplier documents, internal documents, drawings,
assembly instructions, and project plans
• Participates in the reviewing of engineering designs to contribute quality requirements and
considerations
• Compares defects against standards and recommends dispositions, verifies implementation of
rework
• Collects, organizes and analyzes project data, generates and/or reviews metrics
• Performs audits, assigns corrective action, and verifies implementation
• Participates in project reviews and meetings including technical design reviews, technical peer
reviews, material review boards, change control boards, failure review boards
• Participates in continuous improvement and problem-solving activities within the project
• Supervises and/or directs tasks of lower level QA personnel
• Reviews contracts, SOW, and other documents for pertinent information
• Witnesses and/or monitors test activities
• Exercises latitude in determining technical objectives of assignments
• Interfaces with various engineering disciplines, manufacturing, program management, suppliers,
subcontractors, customers, and other quality personnel
• Frequent contact with senior managers within and outside of Engineering
• Frequent contact with project teams across the company
• Works performed without appreciable direction
• Takes a lead role in quality assurance engineering for various projects
• Recognized as an authority in a specific domain of expertise (e.g. hardware or software
engineering) with functional knowledge in multiple processes across different domains
• Provides resolution to a diverse range of complex problems which require the use of ingenuity and
creativity
• Some travel may be required

Target salary range: USD $126,577.80/Yr. - USD $140,422.20/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
- Very strong use and understanding of domain (hardware, software, systems, logistics, manufacturing) methodologies, tools, and standards
- Exceptional knowledge of ISO 9001:2008, CMMI, ISO 14001ASME, ANSI, EIA, etc.
- Exceptional knowledge of use of relevant inspection/measurement tools and techniques
- Ability to take a lead role in quality assurance engineering
