Job Title: Senior Quality Engineer
Employer: Entegris, Inc.
Job Duties: Lead product, process and customer issue resolution during all phases of the product life cycle using quality tools such as FMEA, SPC and DOE and analysis tools such as histograms, pareto, process mapping, cause and effect diagrams, 8D problem solving, Six Sigma DMAIC methodology and Statistical Process Control to ensure effective corrective and preventive action and closure within timing goals. Define and specify the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating products to established standards and customer specifications. Lead 8D Problem Solving Teams in the failure analysis, root cause investigation, corrective and preventative action activities for manufacturing defect resolution; participate on New Product Development Teams (development of FMEA and Control Plans, data collection and analysis, etc.). Be a key member of “Release to Manufacturing” efforts. Author, and analyze the results of, validation and qualification protocols for products, processes, and equipment; generate, analyze, and report on the levels of product quality within the assigned manufacturing areas, including population and variation analysis using T-Test, F-Test, ANOVA, Statistical Process Control, and Process Capability Studies. Participate in continuous improvement (Six Sigma Black Belt and lean manufacturing projects) within assigned manufacturing areas; develop, analyze, and report statistical data, relative to quality systems performance and implementation; support and maintain failure analysis process. Lead material disposition decisions and review the status of blocked stock materials; responsible for conducting gauge R&R activities and the development and implementation of improvements to meet measurement system performance specifications. Author and/or review Standard Quality Operating Processes, work instructions, test specifications, and other documents for accuracy.
Requirements: Master’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related technical engineering discipline, with 3 years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Specific skills and other requirements: Must possess at least 3 years of experience with the following:
- Using quality tools such as FMEA, SPC and DOE and analysis tools such as histograms, pareto, process mapping, cause and effect diagrams, 8D problem solving, Six Sigma DMAIC methodology and Statistical Process Control
- Inspecting, testing, and evaluating products to established standards and customer specifications
- Failure analysis, root cause investigation, and manufacturing defect resolution
- Authoring and/or reviewing Supplier Quality Operating Processes
- Audit experience

Salary: $110,698 / year
