BSc/BA in computer science, economics, mathematics, or relevant field or equivalent experience required
Mandatory Experience:
At least ten years' experience developing, automating and executing test cases and test scripts according to software development lifecycles (SDLCs), including DevOps, Agile, Lean, Iterative, or Waterfall.
In-depth understanding of functional, non-functional and security testing techniques and best practices and experience applying them.
Ability to:
Plan, lead, and report on testing efforts.
Validate requirements for testability and transfer this knowledge to other team members.
Demonstrated experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Unified Functional Testing (UFT), Rational Functional Tester, Selenium, or Sauce Labs.
Ability to:
Plan and execute end-to-end, integration and regression tests.
Transfer knowledge of test automation and automation planning to the wider QA Engineer community.
Identify test cases for automation from existing test case documentation.
Configure automated testing tools.
Create, enhance, debug, and execute code-based test cases.
Organize and monitor the defect management process.
Document test automation processes and code outside of an integrated development environment (IDE).
In-depth experience testing Microsoft Windows, Apple iOS, or Linux applications that incorporate the following technologies:
Client-server, web, mobile or cloud platforms.
Web services technology such as REST, WCF or SOAP.
In-depth experience planning and executing regression tests for relational data structures and data extraction methods typically associated with one (1) major relational database system such as Microsoft SQL Server (preferred) or Oracle.
Proficient in designing and executing SQL queries.
