WORK SCHEDULE for Senior Psychometric Analyst
This is a full-time position.
SALARY for Senior Psychometric Analyst (Starting at $135,000)
Any offered salary is determined based on competency and skills, prior relevant experience, required degrees/certifications, internal equity within the organization and market competition.
ABOUT YOU
As a key member of a collaborative team, the Senior Psychometric Analyst will contribute to strategic implementation efforts, co-lead research, and elevate evaluation strategies. With expertise in analytics and a commitment to harnessing data insights, this role supports development of the ECFMG certification program and FAIMER research initiatives, including analysis of educational outcomes for IMGs. Utilizing advanced statistical methods and machine learning, the Senior Psychometric Analyst will deliver insights that drive substantial, evidence-based advancements in both medical education and clinical practices.
Core Responsibilities:
- Data-Driven Strategy Development: Co-lead the strategic development of analyses for Intealth data to strengthen FAIMER research and the ECFMG certification program. This includes rigorous assessment of the IMG's experience and its impact on educational and clinical outcomes.
- Research Excellence: Conduct in-depth research to explore the connections between residency performance, program characteristics, and future clinical outcomes.
- Advanced Statistical Leadership: Develop innovative methodologies for analyzing complex datasets (e.g., Pathways, IMG Milestones) and collaborate with external researchers using approaches like multilevel data analysis, item response theory, and psychometric equating.
- Technical and Analytical Support: Act as a leading technical resource for Intealth teams, developing AI-driven feedback systems to support ongoing educational assessments.
- Publication and Communication: Contribute to the preparation of manuscripts, conference materials, and presentations, promoting the value of our research within the broader academic and medical communities.
Qualifications Required:
- Academic Background: PhD in Psychometrics, Health Services Research, Biostatistics, or Educational/Clinical Data Science.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in research roles, specializing in psychometrics, educational outcomes, or health services data.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in statistical techniques and tools, with a strong command of multilevel modeling, machine learning, and large dataset management.
- Analytical and Research Skills: Demonstrated expertise in advanced quantitative methods and analytical problem-solving.
